We had the pleasure of contributing to the Modelling and Simulation session at ETH/DBSSE – an inspiring opportunity for students to see how theoretical knowledge can be applied in practice.
Through selected real-world examples, participants gained valuable insights into how modelling and simulation serve as powerful tools to bridge the gap between academic concepts and practical implementation. The lively discussions showed just how relevant and impactful these skills are for addressing challenges in science and industry alike.
The atmosphere was fantastic – with excellent questions, thoughtful contributions, and, of course, the traditional pizza lunch as a well-deserved reward for the dedicated core group who stayed to the very end. Judging by the smiling faces, it was a week well spent!
